From chapter: CHAPTER 3 Finding Your Sustainable Interest, pp. 41–57

This chapter gives seven exercises to find your sustainable interest: Only I, the 2 by 2, the Core Values Mash-Up, Strengths Finder, the beautiful questions, Visualize your future and the 35 headlines. Each is illustrated with a person, such as the doctor's helper who became the person who helps doctors be doctors and Jon Briggs the anti-fan. Schaefer warns not to obsess, since your place will change as you listen to your audience, and Dorie Clark's story shows that one post can reveal it. The place you name should fit your strengths, give purpose, be distinctive and stay fascinating.
