Carousels and the middle of the funnel

Carousels are winning videos re-cut as slides, made to keep an audience and to reach the buyers on LinkedIn.

Top of the funnel brings people in. The middle keeps them, and that is carousels and fake pods. I never make a carousel from an idea that has not been tested. The selfie video goes out first, and if it beats the median it gets re-cut as slides: the hook, why I get to say it, one idea per slide, then save this. It goes on LinkedIn too, where the buyers are. And it has to link back to the positioning, or it is just a nice graphic.

How do I use it?

  1. Make a carousel only from a video that beat the trailing 30 day median.
  2. Put the hook on slide one in bold, aimed at one person.
  3. Use slide two for the credential line that says why you get to say it.
  4. Give each middle slide one idea, with exact numbers where the record has them.
  5. End on a save or send instruction tied to an action, and close the caption on save.
  6. Tie every carousel back to the positioning, so the graphic builds the brand.
  7. Mine old interviews, courses and call tapes for stories to turn into slides.
  8. Name an owner and build the template before the first one is scheduled.
  9. Post to Instagram and LinkedIn, and read saves and profile visits at week four.

In his words

No, middle of funnel content is content that sustains and keeps an audience, so often that’s things like carousels, that’s things like fake podcasts, etc.
