YouTube long-form editor
Edit long-form YouTube videos for creator clients, with pacing and story that keep people watching.
Freelance. Remote, for applicants in the United Kingdom. The rate is agreed per project. Open until 11 December 2026.
This is a talent pool role. Tom is always meeting good people, and work goes to the pool as clients need it.
What you'll do
- Edit long-form YouTube videos from raw footage to final export.
- Build the story: the hook, the structure and the payoff.
- Keep the pacing tight from the first minute to the last.
- Work with the producer and the creator on notes.
You'll be great if
- You have cut long-form YouTube videos that people watched to the end.
- You read the retention graph as closely as the timeline.
- You can show a portfolio with view counts.
- You are organised with footage, versions and deadlines.
How it works
- A short review of your portfolio.
- Then a paid trial edit.
- Then ongoing work as clients need it.
