## The steps

1. **Know your core pillars.** Be clear on what you want to be known for.
2. **Give your knowledge away.** Do not gatekeep.
3. **Value comes in many forms.** Memes, stories and the obvious said simply count.
4. **Write for 12-year-olds.** Aim for a grade 6 or 7 reading level.
5. **Get to the point.** Start from the point and work backwards.
6. **Calls to conversation.** Invite people to talk instead of asking for a sale.

Content is everything you exchange, so there is always something to say. Sordell treats a personal brand as a high-interest account in which every post is a deposit, so one flop means nothing. She sets six rules for creating content with Klowt: know your pillars, give knowledge away free, accept that value comes in many forms, write for a 12-year-old, get to the point, and use calls to conversation rather than calls to action. She adds a tone-of-voice exercise, a push to talk with energy, selling with emotion backed by facts, and an engagement loop she calls skyscrapering.
