## The steps

1. **Inventory the last chapter.** Ask what you were trying to do and what you feel called to do next.
2. **Judge the last company.** Ask what was wrong with it, what you are optimising for and what you never want to do again.
3. **Keep what worked.** Ask what was magical, what you nailed and where you failed.
4. **Set the end point.** Define the ultimate ambition, what success looks like and when enough is enough.
