Category: Hiring and teams. ## The steps 1. **Score the team.** Score team performance 1 to 10 and say why. 2. **What went well.** Say what you think we did well. 3. **What could be better.** Say what we could have done better. 4. **Missing tools or assets.** Say what tools or assets we wish we had at the event. 5. **A magic moment.** Share a magic moment you noticed. 6. **Anything else.** Add anything else. ## Where it comes from From chapter: THE DEBRIEF, pp. 192–192 In a 2005 newspaper campaign each ad carried a booking code, and the data showed odd page ads beat even page ads, two-colour beat black-and-white, and an upside-down ad's response rate fell off a cliff. The team's saying is 'The truth is in the results', so they measure cost per lead, cost per sale, enquiries, unsubscribes, clicks and conversions, and test brochures and sales conversations. Investigate after the campaign, not during.
