Category: AI. ## The steps 1. **Build a coding bot.** An AI that auto-completes code in any language for the programmer's most likely next action. 2. **Build a politically neutral chatbot.** A competitor to OpenAI's GPT series trained on data sets and algorithms chosen to assure neutrality. 3. **Build a maximum truth-seeking AI.** A general intelligence that reasons, thinks and pursues truth, curious about the universe and therefore inclined to preserve humanity. ## Where it comes from From chapter: Chapter 94: AI for Humans: X.AI, 2023, pp. 714–721 The AI revolution arrives in weeks in spring 2023 with ChatGPT and GPT-4. Musk, who split with Sam Altman over OpenAI turning for-profit with Microsoft's $13 billion, summons Altman to Twitter and attacks OpenAI publicly. He thinks AI needs a third gladiator focused on safety and preserving humanity. His assets are Twitter's data feed, which he starts to charge for, and 160 billion frames a day of Tesla video.
