# Build an affiliate army in six steps

## The steps

1. **Find your ideal affiliates.** Businesses with a warm audience full of people like your customers.
2. **Make them an offer.** Call out, value elements and a call to action aimed at affiliates.
3. **Qualify them.** Make them a customer, an expert, or both.
4. **Figure out what to pay them.** Pay for new and repeat customers, up to your maximum allowable CAC.
5. **Get them advertising.** Launch with whisper, tease, shout.
6. **Keep them advertising.** Integrate your lead magnet or core offer into their offer.
