In the latest digital play, RSC streamed to around 10,000 children (300 Schools) the play “Henry V”. I was coordinating with the RSC to work together, along with Ravensbourne to create a higher level of engagement between students, teachers and school through Social Media.

Representing multiple brands throughout the event, we used the hashtag #RSCHenryV. In the day that the event was live, it reached almost 6 million people with over 400 tweets from 200 contributors. I have known Tom for a short period of time but we have become very good friends. He is a motivated and hard working young individual who aspires for success in everything he does. He is exceptional at connecting with people around the world due to his connections with people in multinational companies and bilingualism. It can be said that Tom is a jack of all trades as he has vast expertise in videography, web design and digital marketing.

His passion for tech has allowed him to gain an impressive social media following, which he uses as a professional platform to meet anyone who he believes he can help. Anyone Tom comes into contact with will not be left the same and I believe that working with Tom will leave you off better than you were before; he is an asset to society. I have no doubt that he will be successful in all he embarks upon in the future and I would like to wish him all the very best

Solomon Ian-Sangala

CEO & #68 Most Powerful UK Entrepreneur, AttireX

Tom was part of the core team running Social Media Week London 2015. I hired him to become our communications & community manager because he had the “right” instinct about digital in general and social in particular. His actual work and performance was brilliant, delivering many time mores than initially expected. Not only he brought enthusiasm and a fresh point of view to the team but also loads of energy to relentlessly execute a much needed makeover to our communication activities.

Gianfracco

Chico, Social Media Week London

Through the community partnership @DigitalDoughnut had with Social Media Week London this year, I was lucky enough to meet Tom in his role as Community Manager for #SMW2015. His positive attitude and enthusiasm made him a joy to be around, he was very hard working (pre, during and after the event) and nothing seemed too much trouble.  Due to his natural curiosity about technology and his ability to deal with multiple things at once, I’m looking forward to following his career progression.

Tom Sharman is one of those rare people who can do social in person and online, he would be a great addition to any team.

Daniel Doherty

CEO / Community at DigitalDoughnut, Grafform

Tom joined the team as Communications Manager for Social Media Week London, responsible for managing the community amongst others. Using his instinct for digital and his innovative ideas, Tom brought new ideas to the table to help develop the event. His enthusiasm and passion for Social Media, along with his willingness to learn and adapt puts him in very good standing for a career in Social Media/Innovation.

Toby Daniels

Co-Founder & CEO, CrowdCentric

Tom is a highly professional and capable individual that makes everybody’s life easy. His ability to sort out problems on the run without ever tightening up or showing any signs of stress is amazing. Of course his interpersonal skills help but its clear that his drive and professional ambitions don’t get on the way of him seeing the people and society around him.

Ximo Paris

Youth Development Director, Milestone Foundation

Tom is a hugely enthusiastic, dedicated team member. At Social Media Week I’ve seen him push for excellence in everything he does and he has always made me feel hugely welcome as a guest. I’d not hesitate to recommend Tom to anyone looking for a results orientated hard worker.

Will Hayward

Chief Commercial Officer, Dazed Media

I was a speaker at Social Media Week in London. Anytime you are a speaker, you enter an event with a lot of uncertainties. When I arrived at the venue, Tom immediately welcomed me and gave me a very brief, but spot on overview. Over the course of the event Tom was always available, helpful and had great information at the finger tip. I observed his interactions with his team members and it was clear to me that he was very into organising, problem solving, technology, and media. Tom went above my expectations as a speaker and visitor and made my experience even more lasting.

Romeo Durscher

Director Of Education, DJI Global

It was a pleasure to work with Tom at Social Media Week London. He’s got a natural enthusiasm for the subject, and a sense for which activities will have the most impact on limited resources. It’s priceless that he’s able to turn his hand to many aspects of digital production too!

Adrian Cockle

Digital Innovation Manager, WWF International

When working with Tom, the first thing I noticed was his obvious, intense passion and drive that he applies to every task he is faced with. His work ethic is impeccable as is his ability to collaborate with others. He uses his youth to his advantage, adding a fresh and innovative outlook to each project. Tom is incredibly focused and I have no doubt that he will have a very successful future

Christian Tierney

Music Videographer & Photographer

I had the opportunity to watch Tom do his thing at Social Media Week in London. His drive, contagious optimism, and social media savviness all stood out. He helped run the show, and created a remarkable experience for the attendees. Tom’s got a bright future ahead.

Owen Fuller

Chief Evangelist, Movement Ventures

As a student at Ravensbourne working on a broadcast for the RSC, Tom was a real asset. He supported all the social media activity for the project and was professional and proactive throughout – highly recommended.
